Found this book in Kinokuniya, Spore. Quick read, (a short introduction on the power of gratitude and offers some tips on how to use the journal.).. and the rest of the book is an agenda. It has date in it without the year. I like the idea of keeping a “gratitude journal.” The principle is keep writing a short paragraph of gratitude each day. Believe it, we have a LOT to be grateful for and we take so much for granted.

Gratitude is the substance of a heart ready to show appreciation, or thankfulness.
Gratitude is a prayer. It is a joyful and selfless expression of thankfulness from within. Every day we have so many things to be grateful for. Your daily gratitude journal is a place to honor and acknowledge the good in your life, a place to appreciate all that you are already blessed with. Your gratitude journal will inspire you and serve as a daily reminder to focus on the positive and on the many areas of abundance in your life. By keeping a journal of all that you are grateful for, you will attract more of those things to you. It is a simple concept and a powerful tool in the deliberate creation of the life you desire.

And this is a message from Jack Canfield: There’s a reason right NOW to express gratitude. So do it. Get in the habit of it. Write your gratitude list every night, or say it out loud in the shower every morning. You’ll notice in just a matter of days how long that list begins to grow – and what a change in attitude it creates for you … and that’s where attraction finds its way to you.

So take a few minutes in silence to have an “Attitude of Gratitude”!
