I have already noticed that Jack Black has a very good voice when he sang in High Fidelity (1999), and I am amazed that Tenacious D is a real rock band composed of Jack Black
(yes.. the School of Rock guy) and Kyle Gass. There’s even Tenacious D series on HBO.
This movie is hilarious.
It’s a rock version of Chicago with some very funny-silly-ugly scenes that we used to find in teen movie.
Love every songs although they’re vulgars (Wikipedia wrote that their style is known as “mock rock“). Especially the first they sang together (Fur Elise with rock lyrics, yeah!).
The story is simple. They two meet and decide to form a band. They search for a magical guitar pick from Satan’s tooth.
Again.. Jack Black voice is incredible.
