The movie is about a man who run an alibi service (what an idea of business!).
The plot is quite typical as a “everything goes wrong” theme.
From one supposed-to-be-a-simple-case, things are starting to get complicated.
His client murdered a girl while under an alibi scenario (using his name).
That leaves him :
– An angry dead-girl’s boy friend seeking for revenge.
– A worried grandfather whose grandson is a killer.
– A help from a man from his past, that unfortunately lead him to a series of problems.
– A cop in his tail.
Soon, all of these situations will erupt. So, the man that used to design a very good scenario to cover up his clients, now must develop a brilliant plan for himself.
An entertaining movie. Steve Coogan plays a very cool and typical con artist.
A bit predictable for a con-movie lover like me, but still it’s very entertaining.
