[people] Zhuge Liang

I knew this great man from a computer game (Romance of Three Kingdoms).
Each game characters were given points (1-100) for each parameter.
Zhuge Liang was the only one given 100 for intelligence, while no one else was given 99.
Intrigued with this, I started to read Romance of Three Kingdoms, and found how great this man was.

Kong Ming

Zhuge Liang served Liu Bei who later on became ruler of one of the three kingdoms.
So many heroic (and some time magical) stories about him.

His mission to Wu kingdom and his rivalry with Zhouyou were very famous.
He could persuade Wu to go to war with Cao Cao, just to get Liu Bei a territory.

Once, he carefully drafted a plan to capture Cao Cao, and precisely know that although Cao Cao was capture, he would be released (and it happened!).
In other story, he, alone in an empty city, could make his enemy troops afraid to capture the city and leave.

Some other unforgettable stories : his battle against Meng Huo, his invasion to the west.
He was so clever that I think he knew from the start what his fate was.

I only recall that he lost only to Lu Xun and Sima Yi.
In both cases, his enemies were very cautious and defensive.
He died in his last battle with Sima Yi.
Eventhough he was dead, his statue still could fool Sima Yi.
There’s a saying : “Even the dead Zhuge Liang could fool living Sima Yi.”

Find out more about him in this Wikipedia page.
But I suggest you to read Romance of Three Kingdoms.
