Simon Cowell, the reason why I watched this program
Peter Drucker once said that the purpose of business is to create customer.
And to create customer means to know what customer wants.
So.. why bother taking risk orbiting new pop idol.
Just let the audience choose and take it from there.
And for the audience, we can be in part of a ‘from zero to hero’ story.
A cinderella tale in modern life.
What a briliant concept.
Read somewhere that the the popularity of this show has reached Grammy Award’s.
In the last season, the elimination rounds involved music legends such as Queen, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder.
I like the American Idol, but hate Indonesian Idol (should be called : Indonesia SMS Idol).
American Idol is the only show I (try to) follow all the episodes.
Why?
Hmm… when I think it over… 80% is because of Simon Cowell who always gives unique, honest, sarcastic, and funny comments. The other 20% is because it is a great show : dramatisation yes, but also great performance from the contestants.
