Recommended by a friend (even after he watched Heroes).
He was right. This series is good!
A group of exactly 4400 people suddenlly appeared at Highland Beach.
Some of them have been missing for years.
After their return, none have aged, all are disoriented, and remember nothing between the time of their disappearance and their return.
And slowly the series will reveal that these people possess special ability and has special purpose to carry. It’s like there is greater design for what happened. A bit slower compared to Heroes, but it covers more perspectives (moral, social, human, etc). It exploits the feeling of people who discovers their powers.
Verdict :
1. It’s not Heroes. It’s more like sci-fi drama rather than action sci-fi.
2. If you like well-planned plot, you will feel that the writer has thought about everything from Episode 1. I like this series because of this. “Everything happens for a reason!”.
Note : sadly, it’s cancelled after 3 seasons.
