Got up very early went to the office at 6.30 am.
Received 4 call/sms discouraging me not to go to the office.
“Highways is not accessible!”
“Flood is everywhere, better turn back.”
So … I got all the reasons to go back home.
Even I advised everyone not to go to the office that day.
But still, small and tiny conscience kept my decision to go to the office.
Arrived at 10.00 am. Not bad for that day.
Finished the only meeting (you’d know how important that meeting, right?) at 14.30.
Without having lunch, headed home directly.
Half of the journey took only 20 minutes. Miracle for any other Friday.
But the rest took 4 hours, plus experiencing the most frightening car-riding experience through flood area. Still, it’s a miracle, since if we were late by 10 minutes, it will be at least another 2 hours.
Spend the rest of the day by having a nice (and big) dinner (no lunch, remember?), watching DVDs, and a very good sleep.
What a day to remember.
A 3.5 hours all-out journey to the office.
A 4 hours tough meeting.
A 4.5 hours memorable home journey.
Another special day. For me. For Jakarta.
