I watched Bruce Almighty. Typical slapstick (bringing the moon closer??) comedy from Jim Carrey.<\/p>\n

So when there is a sequel With similar title, I don’t even put it on my movies-to-watch list.<\/p>\n

When I finally watched the movie, I really think this is not the same concept at all.
\nThe story is quite good and funny.<\/p>\n

Several good things about this movie :<\/p>\n

1. The casts. Steve Carrell is not comedian with funny and rubber face like Jim Carrey or Eddie Murphy. Jonah Hill (Superbad) and Wanda Hykes are also funny.<\/p>\n

2. The movie makes you think. For me, I asked myself what I will do if I am certain that I get message from God to do something silly. Would I do that? Or if I have people close to me doing stupid things with their belief, will I support them and stand by them?<\/p>\n

3. Good songs like Revolution and Waiting on the World to change.<\/p>\n

4. The animals are just funny (although CGI).<\/p>\n

5. Although a little bit patronising, I like the concept of changing the world by Act of Random Kindness.<\/p>\n
