Kamis malam kemaren (16\/3) baru aza dari the Valley (click here for official website<\/a>). Udah rencana mau nulis ttg resto ini, eh\u2026 hari ini ada di Kompas. Jadinya, nge-pas banget deh.<\/p>\n

Sudah lama banget engga ke the Valley ini. Soalnya, biasa pas wiken kalau mau makan di tempat2 model gini yang kebayang adalah harus antri (remember to call and make reservations ya kalo wiken!), padahal makanannya standard aza dan harganya lumayan mahal untuk ukuran Bandung.<\/p>\n

Sama seperti resto2 sejenis di Bandung (spt the Peak & Sierra), yang sebetulnya mereka jual adalah pemandangannya. Lokasinya jauh diatas, di daerah Dago atas deh. Jalanannya buat kesana sangat menanjak dan juga sempit. Tapi it was worth driving up there deh soalnya begitu turun dari mobil, udara yang dingin ditambah pemandangan yang bagus bikin seneng hati deh.<\/p>\n

Ada 2 pilihan tempat di the Valley ini. Indoor dan Outdoor. Buat yang indoor ada yang di\u00a0 deket lobby, menggunakan kursi sofa. Ada juga yg dengan dinding kaca. Jadi bisa lihat pemandangan tapi engga kena angin. Untuk outdoornya berada di terrace dengan pembatas pagar pendek yang membatasi resto dengan lembah di bawahnya. Kursi yang digunakan model kursi taman.\u00a0 Nah kami pilih tempat yang terakhir ini, biar bisa menikmati dinginnya Bandung. View kota Bandung di malam hari dari tempat ini juga bagus banget. Seperti saran dari my collague, kami pesan Zuppa-Zuppa<\/span> (Rp. 22,5K) – valley cream soup topped with freshly baked pastry crust. Yummy deh. Hangat dan very creamy. Seperti kata di Kompas; Udara dingin, Sup Panas.<\/p>\n

Buat menu utama, my collagues pesen Buntut Goreng<\/span> (Rp. 49,5K \u2013 besar banget deh), Soto Ayam<\/span> (Rp. 24,5K \u2013 pake santan lho sotonya), Ayam Panggang Hongkong (Rp. 39,5K) dan Chicken Four Season<\/span> (Rp. 47,5K \u2013 model cordon blue)<\/p>\n

Selaen itu, buat sharing kami pesen juga: Pisang Goreng saus Vanilla & Coklat Rum<\/span> (Rp. 12,5K \u2013 Pisangnya sih biasanya aza, banyakan tepung malah .. tapi saus coklatnya enak beneeer!), Udang Goreng Mayonnaise<\/span> (Rp. 18,5K \u2013 mirip tempura yang endut), Lumpia Mini<\/span> (Rp. 18,5 K) dan Chicken Wing<\/span> (Rp. 18,5K \u2013 digoreng pake tepung gitu)<\/p>\n

Biarpun bukan wiken, tapi tempat ini rame banget. Bukan cuman pasangan yang datang, tapi juga family plus kayaknya juga ada yang sedang business (lagi buka laptop dan power point sih\u2026). Pelayanannya sebetulnya OK, tapi karena mungkin sangat penuh & busy, makanya agak lambat deh.<\/p>\n
