Apparition (2008)<\/p><\/div>\n

It has 6 episodes, telling the story about Father Jacob, an ex excorcist who made a comeback to do ‘hand to hand’ combat against evil.<\/p>\n

If u r Catholic and\/or enjoy the Exorcist movie, I highly recommend this series (as I was also recommended).<\/p>\n

You might not find the terrifying demonic-possessed girl like Linda Blair and memorable exorcism scenes, but you will still get the kind of desperate feeling on how strong evil is to mankind, and on how fragile human is.<\/p>\n

The most interesting part of this series (for me) is because in each episode, you’ll learn more about (sometime shocking) stories around saints and other related matter to Catholic.
\nThese stories are becoming part of the episode plot.<\/p>\n

I have watched 4 episodes. Some interesting stories :
\n1. How Mother Theresa experienced the feeling to be left by God (which in here, becoming a plot where the Devil claimed to be able to ‘convert’ even the best God’s soldier).
\n2. The controversy on Pope during WW II.
\n3. Maria Goretti and her rapist.
\n4. Abortion and St. Gianna Molla.<\/p>\n

Verdict : Mediocre in entertainment aspect, but a very good study for Catholics.<\/span><\/p>\n
