THICK as THIEVES (2009)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ocean’s Eleven and The Nine Queens are two movies about con, but actually they had different styles.<\/p>\n

Film ini mencoba mencampur keduanya. Pola standard heist movie diikuti (menghindari laser, sensor suara, sensor tangan, playback surveillance camera).<\/p>\n

Sementara, tema ‘who’s playing who’ juga diexplor.<\/p>\n

Akibatnya nanggung. Jelas teknis heist kalah jauh dari Ocean’s trilogy. Dan plot cerita juga ga sekompleks The Nine Queens.<\/p>\n

Tapi lumayanlah, dibanding beberapa film yang ditonton belakangan.
\nEmpat bintang karena memang susah bikin film con-heist yang bagus.<\/p>\n

I WANT CANDY (2007)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dua orang mahasiswa perfilman kecewa saat tahu tugas akhir mereka adalah membuat film 2 menit. Mereka udah siap dengan script yang panjang.<\/p>\n

Mereka lantas coba menjual script tersebut ke production house.
\nYang menerima malah production house film porno.<\/p>\n

Selain dari harus kucing-kucingan (karena menggunakan rumah tempat tinggal sebagai studio), film ini lucu krn karakternya juga mendukung. Producer-wannabe yang oportunis dan sutradara yang pemalu dan idealis. Mereka bertekad membuat film porno yang berkelas.<\/p>\n

Berhasilkah mereka di tengah tekanan dari berbagai pihak (orang tua, dosen, hingga mafia)?<\/p>\n
