My first introduction to Hitchcock was through “North by Northwest”, but I think it was not a good introduction. Too old even though many cinematography milestones there. I even don’t plan to write anything about that movie.<\/p>\n

Dial M of Murder, the second movie borrowed from a friend, really rectifies my perception of Hitchcock. The movie is simply sublime.<\/p>\n

The plot is heavenly amazing with a very thorough and clever details.
\nThe central character (Tony Wendice) is a very interesting character with his quick and detail thinking.<\/p>\n

The movie really plays with your mind. You will feel your stomach when realising that Tony’s watch is stopped when he supposed to make a very important call.<\/p>\n

The story is about a husband carries out a plot to murder his wife. The plan is very very detail and seems to be foolproof. Even when things go wrong, the husband can improvise a brilliant routing.<\/p>\n

Can he really kill his wife?<\/p>\n

One last note, Hitchcock’s trademark is his cameo.
