This movie is very violent and quite touching too, which is to be expected, with Won Bin starring in it. I love all of his movies, including this one. He’s cute, and this role is just perfect for him.<\/p>\n

Tae Guk Gi<\/b> (the name of South Korean flag) is a Great War film, not only for its realistic war scenes but also for its portrayal of two brothers, Lee Jin-Tae and Lee Jin-Seok who are drafted off to the Korean War<\/a> (1950-1953; war breaks out between communist North Korea and South Korea). Jin Tae becomes a war hero, motivated to do his best for his country and get Medal of Honor to make his brother sent home unharmed and alive. It has the same beautiful story line like Saving Private Ryan in Spielberg’s movie. (Quote: They can\u2019t draft both of you; who will carry on the family name?)<\/p>\n
