Di pintu masuk yang besar, terpasang board bergambar wanita jawa bersanggul dengan kebaya merah dan membawa kipas lipat; duduk di kursi tempo doeloe. Gambar ini pula yang terdapat pada halaman depan menu. Dengan tulisan \u2018The Isles of Colourful Spice<\/i>\u2019 resto Kembang Goela<\/b> menyajikan masakan khas Indonesia yang dibuat dengan mengambil romantisme nostalgia jaman doeloe.<\/p>\n

Interiornya sendiri mengambil maunya mengambil gaya tempoe doeloe. Langit2 yang tinggi dan lampu bulat, serta hiasan2 model tempo doeloe. Tapi tokh tetap berasa seperti masuk ke rumah modern. Seperti model tempo doeloe buatan sekarang.<\/p>\n

\nMinumannya kami pilih Sekoteng<\/b><\/span> (isinya lengkap sekali: kacang hijau, pacar cina, kacang tanah, roti dengan air jahe yang hangat. Rp 20K) dan Es Peyeumpuan<\/b><\/span> (tape singkong yang diblender ditambah dengan tape singkong yg tidak diblender, kelapa muda, pacar cina, kolang-kaling, dan nangka. Warnanya pinky. Boleh dicoba juga kalau hanya mau makan snack2nya buat high tea: Hollandche Krok\u00e9t (Rp 12,5K), Bitterballen (Rp 35K), Poffertjes Van Oranje (Rp 15K), Pisang Gentj\u00e9t (model pisang Epe-nya Makassar; hanya pisangnya digoreng (bukan dibakar) dan diberi saus gula jawa, Rp 15K)<\/p>\n

Kalo mau makan ala meneer Belanda tempo doeloe, tempat ini recommended banget buat dijadikan pilihan. Rijjstafel<\/b><\/span> istilahnya. Makan siang atau malam dengan nasi dan lauk lengkap plus menu pembuka (sop atau soto) dan menu penutup (kue2 manis khas jajanan pasar) dan disajikan oleh 10-12 gadis cantik\/pria gagah dengan busana adat jawa yang biasa disebut jongos atau pelayan. Masing2 pelayan ini membawakan aneka jenis lauk yang berbeda mengelilingi meja menawarkan ke tamu makanan yang dibawa oleh mereka. Makanannya sendiri seperti makanan rumahan biasa sebetulnya. Nasi, sop\/soto, sambal, sate, sayur, dll sampai ke makanan penutup seperti pisang goreng.<\/p>\n

Tapi untuk menu model Rijjstafel lengkap, harus pesan dulu ya.<\/p>\n
