Bakteri inilah yang membuat lactose pada susu berubah menjadi lactic acid, dan berubah menjadi masam ; yang juga menyebabkan protein pada susu mengental. Itu sebabnya biasanya yoghurt lebih kental daripada susu cair biasa.<\/p>\n<p>Manfaat dari yoghurt banyak sekali, diantaranya adalah mengurangi resiko osteoporosis dan kanker, serta memperbaiki sistem kekebalan tubuh (sakit &amp; infeksi). Bahkan untuk mereka yang sedang meminum antibiotik dianjurkan pula minum yoghurt karena akan menambah bakteri baik dalam tubuh.<\/p>\n<p>Yoghurt bisa dibuat sendiri, tapi lebih mudah kalau beli langsung. Saya sendiri sampai saat ini prefer untuk beli, tapi selalu pilih yang plain yoghurt \u2013 yang belum dikasi gula atau \u2018buah\u2019. Yoghurt sendiri yang saya tahu ada 2, yakni greek-style yoghurt \u2013 yang creamy &amp; kental; mirip ice cream atau yang drinking yoghurt \u2013 lebih cair tetapi mengandung dengan kandungan susu low fat.<\/p>\n<p>Cara paling mudah untuk meminum yoghurt adalah dengan mencampur buah2an (seperti <a href=\"http:\/\/edunik.com\/home\/?p=1829\">strawberry<\/a>, mangga, jambu merah, jerk nipis, ataupun selai yang 100% murni dari buah) dengan plain yoghurt kemudian diblender bersama2. Biasanya tanpa penambahan gula, atau kalau menggunakan buah yang masam juga maka ditambahkan madu untuk pemanis. Cara repot sedikit, dibuat Fruit Frozen Yoghurt seperti dibawah ini. Enak &amp; engga menyesal walau prosesnya panjang..! Dan terutama, tetap sehat!<\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients:<\/b><br \/>\n1\/2 kg buah *<br \/>\n1L plain lowfat yogurt<br \/>\n\u00bd cup gula halus \/ madu<br \/>\n\u00bd sdt vanilla (optional)<\/p>\n<p><b>Directions:<\/b><br \/>\n1. Dengan menggunakan food processor, hancukan buahnya menjadi puree. (<i>note: kalau menggunakan strawberries, saring dulu bijinya sebelum diolah lebih lanjut<\/i>)<br \/>\n2. Tambahkan yoghurt, gula\/madu, dan vanilla. Mixer sampai adonan lembut dan tercampur rata. Tutup adonan masukkan kedalam freezer selama 2 jam atau sampai \u00bd beku. Mixer kembali kemudian bekukan ulang \u2013 ulangi proses ini setiap 30 menit selama 2 jam atau sampai adonan halus.<br \/>\n3. <b>Penyajian:<\/b> keluarkan frozen yoghurt 10 menit sebelum disantap.
