Had dinner at Halia<\/b><\/a> <\/b>on Thursday night (18\/10) with my DH & friends after looong walked at SBG<\/a>. Halia berarti ginger, lokasinya juga di Ginger Garden, di dalam SBG<\/a>. Menggunakan icon bunga ginger berwarna ungu untuk lambangnya.<\/p>\n

Kami pilih lokasinya di alfresco sitting<\/i>, engga pake AC dan be one with nature. Tidak panas, karena udara malam & kipas angin di ruangan. The ambience was cozy & romantic, enhanced by jazz music played almost the entire time we were there & the service was marvelous.<\/p>\n

The food\u2019s beyond expectation. Delicious!<\/p>\n

We started off with Caesar Salad<\/b> (SGD 11), Young Spinach Salad<\/b> (SGD 12) and 2 of Soups<\/b>.
\nNext up for the main course we had (1) Slow Roasted Fillet of Tasmanian Ocean Trout<\/b> \u2013 in garden herbs emulsion, with fresh clams & potato puree (SGD 36) **** tender & juicy! (2) Hokkaido Scallop & Prawn<\/b> Linguini<\/b> \u2013 with basil leaf, oven-dried cherry tomato, asparagus and garnished with salmon roe in a light cream sauce (SGD 34) *** so-so (3) Fritto Mito Baby Vegetables and Cilantro Pesto<\/b> Spaghettini<\/b> \u2013 accompanied with ginger tomato chutney dip (SGD 28) ***** My favorite. The best one! (4) Aubergine & Tofu Tower<\/b> \u2013 baked egg plant, portabello mushroom with tofu. **** mirip aegedashi tofu.
\nFor the four of us, we ended up spending about SGD 297 with wine<\/p>\n

All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner, the finest food in the area.<\/p>\n
