A story about two guys in US (happened to be Asians : Korean & Indian) who spend the
night looking for White Castle Burger, a perfect food they saw on TV when they’re high on marijuana.
Even the Burger Shack employee said “…just thinking about those tender little White Castle burgers with those little, itty-bitty grilled onions that just explode in your mouth like flavor crystals every time you bite into one…”
Simple motive .. but creates a very funny story.
So many funny elements : animal (raccon & cheetah), racism, cameo (Neil Patrick Harris), drug (marijuana), car problem, police, wrong identity (doctor), bully, silly wisdom, stranger encounter (Freakshow & his sexy attractive wife), friendships; that will make you laugh.
One scene that touches me and really shows what the entire movie is all about, is when Harold saw his friends eating burgers and told Kumar “I want that feeling. The feeling that comes over a man when he gets what exactly what he desires. I need that feeling.”.
Truly a gem of comedy.
